Eligible claimants:

Gift claims are open to all persons.

Claimants under the age of 18 must obtain prior permission from a parent or guardian to claim a gift.

How winning names are determined:

All persons who are registered in the Lancome databases (i.e. Lancome ecommerce database, Lancome Myer database and Lancome David Jones database) as at 11.59pm AEST on 8 June 2016 will have their first name placed into a draw which will take place at 2pm AEST on 9 June 2016 at Plexus, Level 2, 35 Little Bourke Street, Melbourne VIC 3000.

The first nine (9) first names drawn will be the winning names for Week 1. The next nine (9) first names drawn will be the winning names for Week 2. The next nine (9) first names drawn will be the winning names for Week 3. And the next nine (9) first names drawn will be the winning names for Week 4. The same unique first name may only be a winning name for one Week of the Promotion and cannot be a repeated winning name for any given Week. For example, if the name ‘Alex’ is a winning name for Week 1, it cannot be a winning name for any other Week of the Promotion and cannot be a winning name more than once for Week 1. The winning names for each Week will be published on the Lancome Australia Facebook Page.

How to claim:

To claim a personalised sticker gift, the claimant must complete the following steps during the Promotional Period, while sticker gift stocks last:

  1. Attend any Participating Store;
  2. Purchase a Lancome miracle cushion (RRP $60 for single and RRP $90 for bundle), if not done so already;
  3. Visit the Lancome counter at the Participating Store and present to a staff member of the Participating Store the Lancome miracle cushion they purchased along with a valid ID (e.g. driver’s licence) showing their name matches a winning name for that Week of the Promotion.

The claimant will then receive a sticker with their ‘winning’ first name printed. The sticker will be printed with their first name at the Lancome counter itself. There is a limit of 150 stickers available per store per Week of the Promotion. However, there is no specific limit to the number of each winning name that will be printed on stickers. E.g. ‘Ally’ may be 1 of the 9 winning names for Week 1 and the first 150 claimants to submit a claim at a Participating Store during Week 1 could all have that same name and obtain a personalised sticker.

There are three styles of stickers available but only a limited number of each style is available.

Terms and Conditions

  1. The claimant agrees and acknowledges that they have read these Conditions of Claim (and Schedule) and that submitting a claim into the Promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Conditions of Claim (and Schedule). Any capitalised terms used in these Conditions of Claim have the meaning given in the Schedule, unless stated otherwise.
  2. The Promotion commences on the Start Date and ends on the End Date ("Promotional Period"). Claims must be received during the Promotional Period. Claims are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of transmission or deposit by the claimant. Records of the Promoter and its agencies are final and conclusive as to the time of receipt.
  3. Directors, management, employees, officers and contractors (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, of Participating Stores, of the agencies or companies associated with this Promotion or of the Promoter’s retailers, distributors, suppliers and associated companies and agencies are not eligible to enter. “Immediate families” means spouse, partner, parent, guardian, natural or adopted child, and sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent), whether or not they live in the same household as the director, manager, employee, officer or contractor.
  4. Valid and eligible claims will be accepted up to close of business on 14th July 2016 or while sticker gift stocks last (whichever is first to occur). If the gift(s) is won by a person under the age of 18, the gift may be awarded to the successful claimant’s parent or guardian and where applicable to the gift a nominated parent/guardian must accompany any person under 18 years of age.
  5. If any successful claimant chooses not to take their gift (or is unable to), or does not take or claim a gift by the time stipulated by the Promoter or Participating Store, they forfeit the gift and the Promoter is not obliged to substitute the gift.
  6. If a gift is unavailable the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the gift to a gift of equal or greater value and/or specification, subject to any written directions of a regulatory authority.
  1. The value of the gift/s is accurate and based upon the recommended retail value of the gift/s (inclusive of GST) at the date of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the gifts after that date.
  2. If there is any dispute as to whom a gift should be awarded both the Promoter and the Participating Store’s decision will be final.
  3. It is a condition of accepting the gift that the successful claimant may be required to sign a legal release as determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion, prior to receiving the gift(s). If a successful claimant is under the age of 18, a nominated parent or legal guardian of the successful claimant will be required to sign the legal release on the successful claimant’s behalf.
  4. If a gift is provided to the Promoter by a third party, the gift is subject to the terms and conditions of the third party gift supplier and the provision of the gift is the sole responsibility of the third party and not the Promoter. The terms and conditions which apply to the gift at the time it is issued to the successful claimant will prevail over these Conditions of Claim, to the extent of any inconsistency. The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for any delay or failure by the third party to deliver the gift, any delay or failure relating to the gift itself or failure by the third party to meet any of its obligations in these Conditions of Claim or otherwise.
  5. Any guarantee or warranty given is in addition to any relevant statutory guarantees and warranties and nothing in these Conditions of Claim restricts, excludes or modifies or purports to restrict, exclude or modify any statutory consumer rights under any applicable law including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
  6. If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected claims, subject to State or Territory regulation.
  7. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to validate and check the authenticity of claims and claimant’s details (including a claimant’s identity, age and place of residence). In the event that a successful claimant cannot provide suitable proof, the successful claimant will forfeit the gift in whole and no substitute will be offered. Incomplete, indecipherable, inaudible, incorrect and illegible claims, as applicable, will at the Promoter’s discretion be deemed invalid and not eligible to receive a gift. The use of any automated claim software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an individual to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and may render all claims submitted by that individual invalid.
  8. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify claims in the event of non-compliance with these Conditions of Claim. In the event that there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Promotion, the decision of the Promoter is final and binding on each claimant and no correspondence will be entered into.
  9. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using any gift (or recommendation), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
  10. The claimant will participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable marketing and editorial activities relating to the Promotion, including (but not limited to) being recorded, photographed, filmed or interviewed and acknowledges that the Promoter may use any such marketing and editorial material without further reference or compensation to them.
  11. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications and the claimant must seek their own independent financial advice in regards to the tax implications relating to the gift or acceptance of the gift.
  12. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights.
  13. Authorised under: NSW Permit No. LTPS/16/04353
