Corine, THE BEAUTY OF INTELLECT
Her bust, exhibited in the Richelieu Wing of The Louvre, is the work of the French sculptor, Edme Etienne François Gois, who in 1836, sculpted the beauty of the myth of Corine from marble. Simply dressed in a tunic, with a determined expression, long locks of hairs fall on her shoulder.
